What seminars are currently scheduled?

Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 5:30pm-8:00pm

Grace Baptist Church

2550 Jewetta Ave.

Bakersfield, CA 93312

Pre-registration is now CLOSED. You can still attend the seminar, just pay $15.00 at the door.

What can you expect from a Save At Home Mommy Money Saving Seminar?

We will cover all the basics including coming up with a budget, developing a shopping strategy, the basics of couponing, coupon language, getting organized and Q&A.  Then we will move on to  the nitty gritty of Rite Aid’s Single Check Rebate and Wellness rewards program, CVS Extra Care Buck’s, Walgreen’s Register Rewards, Catalina promotions, developing menus, working with your stockpile, dealing with checkout issues and so much more.  We will answer all your questions and make sure you leave with the confidence to try the more complicated transactions and come up with scenarios of your own.

Who teaches the seminars?

Aimee Guess, the author of SaveAtHomeMommy.com teaches all seminars.  She uses coupons to help her family of 3 spend about $200.00 each month on groceries, toiletries, cleaning supplies and more.  SaveAtHomeMommy.com has been honored as a favorite in the Best Of Kern 2011 for Best Local Website and Best Local Blog!

How much do seminars cost?

Seminars are $10.00 when paid through online preregistration and $15.00 when paid at the door.  There are often discounts and incentives to lower the cost as well.  You will be provided with a packet of information to help guide you through the seminar with plenty of room for notes. You will also get a blank budget form to help you get started as well as copies of the most recent coupon policies for the major stores here in Bakersfield.  We also have giveaways and tons of fun learning together!

*I do not give refunds if you pre-register and are unable to attend a seminar. However, you are more than welcome to come attend the next seminar since you already paid.

Why do you not charge more?

While I know there are a lot of people out there who would pay more than $10.00 or $15.00, I don’t even want the registration fee to be what keeps someone from being able to attend.  Those are the people that I want to be able to come and learn how they can change the life of their family.

Can I bring my husband or older child with me?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your husband or older child with you so they can learn as well.  You can simply pay an additional $5.00 at the door for each spouse or child.

Can I bring my baby with me?

If at all possible, it is better to be able to pay complete attention to the seminar and not be distracted by your baby.  If you do need to bring your infant with you, I do ask that you do your best to keep from distracting those around you.
