It has been a while since I reminded you about Mega Swagbucks Friday!  If you have not tried out Swagbucks, you are missing out!  At the very minimum, you can use their toolbar to search and go to websites instead of using your address bar.  Every time you search, you have a chance of winning Swagbucks.  These bucks accumulate in your account and then you can redeem them for my favorite rewards, gift cards!  There are tons of other ways to earn and many prizes and merchandise that you can use your bucks on as well but I love the gift cards.  You can get Starbucks, Target and Amazon.com just to name a few.  Check out Swagbucks today and see what kind of rewards you can rack up!

Today is Mega Swag Bucks Day!  Don’t miss out on this incredibly easy way to earn rewards just by doing your normal online activities.  Of course, there are tons of ways to earn if you have the time and energy.  I just use it for my search engine and my address bar and the rewards really add up. 

My favorite thing to purchase, by far, are amazon gift cards.  As soon as the rewards are added to your Swagbucks account, you can go in and grab the codes and add them to your amazon account.  They will show up as credit when you go to place your orders.  With the free shipping offer from Amazon Mom, I have been doing quite a bit of my Christmas shopping through them already!

I haven’t posted about Swagbucks for a few weeks but I realized I have used them several times this week!  I always use mine to buy Amazon gift cards that I immediately add to my Amazon account.  With the new Amazon Mom offer that includes FREE prime shipping, I am loving it!  Our iced tea maker broke so I ordered a new one as well as several books and a new toddler Bible for Addi.

If you have not signed up or are not using your Swagbucks account, get on it sister (or brother:).  You can earn bucks just for doing you regular online activities.  My main way I earn is by typing all the addresses for the sites I want to go to into the search bar instead of the address bar.  The bucks really can add up, especially on Fridays which are Mega Swagbuck days.  There are many other ways to earn and many other things to spend them on so make sure to check out Swagbucks!

Since today is Mega Swagbucks Day, I thought I would share my strategy for using my rewards.  I almost always choose the amazon.com gift cards to use my bucks on.  After the prize is added to my account, they send me an email letting me know.  I then go into my Swagbucks account and grab the code from my egift card.  Then, I log into my amazon.com account and go to “Your Account”.  Then, under Payment and Gift Cards, I click on “View Gift Certificate/Card Balance”.

  You can then paste the code from Swagbucks into the box and click “Apply To Your Account”

The credit will be added to your account and the next time you go to check out, you can choose to apply that credit to your balance.  It is that easy.  You can add as many codes as you like and your credit will never expire.  I have found this to be a great use of my Swagbucks and have started storing up my credit to use on Christmas shopping.  With all the great deals that come out around the holidays and their free shipping offers, I can choose great gifts for people and have them shipped so I don’t have to pay extra or lug them all on the airplane with me!
