Homemade Body Scrub for Bathtime
In the June issue of the All You Magazine, there was an article that talked about homemade remedies and solutions for the different rooms in your home. One of the ones that stood out to me was a homemade body scrub for bath time.
I don’t take nearly as many luxuriating baths now that I am a mom of three. But, this yummy recipe caused me to plan a bath just so that I could try this scrub out.
You just take granulated sugar in a bowl, probably about a cup. Then you just start streaming in olive oil, stirring all the while until you get it to the consistency of a scrub. Add a bit of orange or almond extract and you are ready for a aromatic, luxurious but cost effective spa treatment that you simply made yourself. I loved it! I felt a bit shiny and slick after the bath but I noticed the next morning that my skin was so soft and not looking nearly as dry as it was before. Give it a try!

Almost 2 years ago, I gave birth to our second little girl Adelaide Grace (Addi). I was able to lose the weight I had gained from my pregnancy within 10 days. The problem was, I still had 60 more pounds on my frame than when my husband and I were married. I had allowed myself to think that this happens to everyone and that I would never be the same weight as when I got married.
I have always struggled with my weight, losing and gaining over and over again, but this time I was determined to make a change.
