Albertsons has some awesome deals this week and there are a few that I want to make special mention about. First of all, Kens Salad Dressings are on sale for $1.00 this week. Use the $1.00 off from the 8/15 SS Insert and you have FREE salad dressing. I just went tonight and bought six and the manager didn’t even bat an eye. Love that!

Also, check your independent grocer ads for the week. Here locally, the Vallarta and the Green Frog ads have $2.00 off your purchase of (3) 12 packs of Coca-Cola products. Albertsons has them on sale for 4/$10.00. Even though they are in a different grocer’s ad, they are still manufacturer coupons and will work in Albertsons. This would bring the price down to $2.00 each when you buy (4) 12 packs.

Another coupon available in the Green Frog circular is a Powerade Buy 10, Get 5 Free manufacturer coupon. Albertsons has them on sale for $.79 each, no limit listed. There was a special small ad in today’s paper for Albertsons with a few good deals and 3 more doublers at the bottom.  The doublers are good through the 15th and have a limit of 3 per family per shopping trip.  As always, it will depend on your cashier and your store as to whether they will let you just do multiple transactions or not.

I went to Albertsons yesterday to scope out the new coupon booklet and doublers and was prepared with my Prego coupons.  I asked the cashier if there was a limit on how many doublers I could use at once and she said no.  I am sure, as always, that each cashier may be different but I checked out with another cashier and used 4 doublers at once.  The only problem came with the fact that all of the ones I picked up were marked at .99 each but when I swiped my card, the discount only came off for 3 of the jars.  The manager was super nice and helped figure it out right away and credit me the right amount.  With the sale, coupons and doublers, I got these all completely FREE!

I am thrilled to report that the Double Coupons, known as DOUBLERS, are back!!! There are two of them on the back of the new coupon booklets available in the front of Albertsons stores. The wording is really vague in terms of the number you can use at one time. Normally, they will take two at a time. However, we have learned that it is truly up to your individual cashier/manager in the number they will scan through. These doublers are good for two weeks, until August 10th, and they require a minimum $10.00 purchase. There are store coupons in the booklet that can be used in conjunction with manufacturer coupons for great savings…then you could add a doubler on top of all of that…WOO HOO!
