Does anybody know what the limit is on like coupons per transaction? I have a bunch of Ronzoni coupons, and I’m wondering how many I can use towards my 10 items.
Officially there is no limit, however, I have heard of individual stores or cashiers trying to limit them to all different amounts. You might just need to be prepared either way.
Thanks. It looks like there are some other good deals too, so I’ll probably try using 4-5 pasta coupons per transaction.
My 5/17 Smart Source (Orange County, CA) has $1 off 2 Farmer John Breakfast Sausage (expires 6/15/11). Brings them down to $0.75 each when you buy 2.
NEWBIE OVER HERE!!! Super excited about the couponing! I can get food for my students!
Does anyone know if I buy MORE than 10 items, if i get them for special prices? Ex. ronzoni pasta for .89 each?
OR
Can i make separate transaction for 10 more? or go the next day?
Can I use $5 off $25 coupon too?? (got it when I signed up on albertson’s website) woo hoo!!!
Most of the time it is best to do them 10 at a time in separate transactions. It will be easier to keep up with that way as well. Most promotions will take off a lump sum once the correct amount of participating items have been scanned. Yes, you can use the $5/$25 in addition as long as the promo doesn’t require a certain $$ amount purchased. At Albertsons, if you have to buy $20 in certain items to get $5.00 back, the $20 has to be after all coupons. I hope that helps for this and future promos.
I just noticed on my receipt that on the 2nd transaction, they didn’t take $5 off! Is it b/c the $5 off 10 items only works once? The cashier was so rude… very discouraging..
It should have worked fine in two separate transactions. I always make sure to check my receipts before I leave the store so that I can go to customer service to get it fixed right away. It could have been a computer glitch or are you sure you had 10 items that were all participating? I checked the ad and it does not state any limits per card or customer.
Thank you Kerri for answering my question. I went to Albertsons and I printed the ronzini 1/2 (2 times= 4 coupons), when I went to the store, the cashier gave me a little bit of hard time, 2 coupons scanned fine, but the other 2 did not. Anyone had experienced this? This happened to me at Albertsons when I used 4 clorox coupons last week.
I had the same issue with the pasta coupons but the cashier keyed them in manually.
I was barely able to go to alberstons last night and it was so frustrating! They would not accept my coupons for the rotini because it was over the value and they would not adjust them down. They also would not accept a few other coupons that I had because they printed out a little light (running out of ink), and they also gave me a hard time over the $5 off $25 from their own website! I had my coupon policy with me but it doesn’t state anything about overages and adjusting down so I had to pay full price for those to avoid screwing up my whole transaction. I think I’ll try a different store next time.
Hopefully someone can help me out with my question. Since the Ronzoni pasta is .89 cents and there is a $1 off coupon will we be able to get the extra .11 cents to use on our purchase? (i.e buy 10 ronzoni pastas total= $8.90 – $10 off coupons= negative $1.10)
I was at Albertson’s this morning, and bought 4 Ronzoni, 2 Ragu, and 4 La Victoria. I did get 11 cents overage for each box of pasta. I think the coupon policy is to adjust down rather than give overage, but maybe since the $5 you get for buying 10 is applied to the whole transaction, it’s not counting the pasta as going over.
Planning a trip to albertsons tomorrow I have 30 items that I plan on buyong and they are all from buy ten get 5 dollars off. Do have to do three seperate transactions to get the sales price?
Based on what other readers have said, I would break it up just to be sure. And, make sure to check to be sure the $5.00 has come off each time before you leave the store.
Thank u so much for answering my question I cant wait until tomorrow my first time shopping with this many coupons yeah
