Quick question…For the Buy 10 to get the lowest prices, I have coupons for 14 Nabisco crackers and 9 Dole fruits = 23 will I get the deal on all 23 or only 20 and pay full price on the other 3…Basically I didn’t know if after you have hit 10 any extra are counted as the sales price as well
I have not done this promotion specifically but in the past, after 10 participating items were scanned, $5.00 would come off. If that is true for this one as well, you would end up paying the higher price for the 3 items. I hope that helps.
My Albertson’s Shopping Trip: 4/22/11
Bought:
2, Ocean Spray Juices (2/10) (Online Ocean Spray $1 off 1, 2 cpns)
1, Kraft Mayonnaise (3/10) (Clipped Manf-Cpn $0.75)
2, Kraft Salad Dressing (5/10) (Clipped Manf-Cpn $1 off 2)
1, Triscuit (6/10) (Online Print Cpn $1 off 1)
4, Albertson’s Canned Vegitables (10/10)
2, Jimmie Dean Sausage (Weekly Flier Cpn 2 for $5, 2 online manf-cpn)
4, Albertson’s Frozen Veggies ($0.99 each)
Other Coupons Used:
$2 off $25 available on-line.
Ad Deal – 10 items $5 off back of weekly flier.
Catalinas from past purchases ($2).
Paid $10.55
Saved $36.89
My Thoughts:
First off, the Ocean Spray Coupon didn’t scan, which says to me “it’s no good”, but the cashier took’em anyway bless their heart. If all went bad with the juice I was fully prepared to sub in another box of Nabisco Crackers and another can of veggies. I wish I had the propel coupon, I would have subbed it for the veggies and saved even more… but canned veggies are more useful.
I’m not a big “stock up” person, so I’ll use the juice for popcicles for my 2 year old, veggies in every meal, dressings for salads from my garden, mayonnaise was a stock-up, triscuits for snacking, and 1 jimmie dean for breakfast fixins and one to cut with turkey (future Alb. deal?) for sloppy joes or beef (on late night Manager Special perhaps?) for meatballs.
Hope this helps,
B
Isn’t the Samrt Ones coupon from Vons only for breakfast foods? Is this part of the sale?
My post is for Albertson’s.
Yes, the coupon in the Vons booklet is for Breakfast. The wording in the Albertsons ad says it includes Classics and several others. I am not entirely sure if it includes the breakfast classics or not. I just included the coupon option in case.
