This is the last week in our SAHM Budget Challenge! I can not believe how quickly it has gone! I hope it has really helped you all learn more of the basics and start whittling away your grocery budget. One thing you will find along the way, is that you will often be faced with great sales for items that you don’t really need.
If you don’t need it don’t buy it, UNLESS, you are going to give it away to someone who does!
There are so many places and people that can use the items that you find sitting in your pantry or that you can use coupons to get for FREE or super cheap. Check out my video above to see one way that we use our free or extra items to give back to needy people in our community.

Do you ever find it difficult at the check out- when I have to many coupons of the same thing or just A Lot in general, it seems they always try not to take them, or lecture me and say I can’t do it. Even though I know I can and I have obied by the coupon laws very carefully…it almost makes me not want to use them, or I feel I have to take my Husband to back me up.
I personally don’t have many problems, but I know that others do as well. If they give you a hard time, just be firm in what you know to be right. If they continue, I would speak to a manager about it and nicely tell them you are trying to follow the rules and shop at their store but that the cashiers are not being kind. If that doesn’t work, I would call the corporate office.
This is such a great Idea! I am going to share this with my readers! I will also be doing a pantry clean out to see what we have to put in our bags!

thanks for the advice, I guess a part of me doesn’t like to cause a scene or hold up a line…but hey! I am saving money so I can get my babies things they need…thanks again :)
