September Is National Coupon Month

Did you know that September is National Coupon Month? With coupon usage surging again (up 17% in 2009), Coupon Sherpa thought this would be the perfect year for to join in the celebration by helping educate consumers on the art of couponing. In order to celebrate, they launched I Love Coupon Month, where every day for the next 30 days they will feature daily money-saving tips, as well as stats, polls, facts and resources aimed at challenging shoppers to get more savings from their shopping carts.

I went and read some of the coupon statistics listed on the site about coupon usage and it is pretty crazy how much this has increased in the last year. No store has an excuse not to know how coupons work anymore..they are just too widespread..
