Vons contacted me last week and asked me if I would be willing to try out their grocery delivery service and I was most definitely up for that! They sent me two gift cards to cover my costs as well as a discount code to give me free delivery and $7.00 off. I got online and quickly and easily created my account and began shopping. You can shop only the specials or go through each department. The weekly sale prices are the same online as they are in the store so of course I went for mostly sale items. Since you put in your Vons card number when you register, you can get the club prices as well as any ecoupons you have loaded to your account! The whole process was very easy and you can schedule the delivery for a time that works for you. When the super kind man showed up on Saturday and brought all my bags of groceries and set them on my counter, I will admit, I was tempted to always shop like this:) While I would not recommend that, I think there can be some cases where it can be convenient and not cost you anymore than going to the store yourself. This would be a great idea for an elderly relative or for someone who has just had a baby or can’t get out of the house for some other reason. Everything pictured above was only $44 and I never left my house!

My thought was that you could stock up on meat that is on sale, have it delivered right to your house and get the extra $7.00 off! I got almost 8 pounds of meat in my delivery so I will be set for a while. You could also go in with someone else and have some groceries sent to a friend as a gift they would be sure to appreciate!

What’s the exp. for the code?
I don’t think there is one but it is good only for your first order. Hope that helps.
hi… do we get to use printed mfc with home delivery, or only ecoupons??? thanks.
you can only load the ecoupons. that was one of my suggestions to them to be able to use paper coupons:)
Thanks for that answer. I thought of one more question… Did you tip the delivery person? If so, what is an acceptable amount for that?
As soon as I read this I realized that we never did! We talked about it and then totally forgot when he showed up. I really am not sure since this was the first time I had done it but we were going to just err on the side of generosity. Does anyone else have a good answer for this one?
Hi again to the third power…. I just received my first Vons home delivery. I used the code they gave you for free delivery and $7 off. On top of that, I used a $10 off offer I received in my email. Surprisingly, they let me use both, and with the ecoupons on my Vons card, I got my $51+ delivery for $28+. Awesome! Also, I tried to tip the delivery man and he refused, saying he’d get fired, as they are to accept NO TIPS. Just thought you’d wanna know. :)

I just used this code on Vons.com and the expiration is 9/30/10. Hope this info helps.
