Is the catalina deal that you have to spend $30 before coupons or the amount after coupons? I did not understand the wording in the Ad.
I know, the wording is confusing but it means that the $30 is the sales prices after you scan your Albertsons card and before you give them your coupons. I got confused the first couple of times but the wording always says that and it is before coupons. Hope that helps.
WOW! AMAZING DEALS, HUH Kerri! I am going to make several trips! The sales have not been that great over the last few weeks, so my stockpile is dwindling…not anymore :)
Thanks for the links…
Christy,
Coupon Gal
Can you help me understand coupons that are off more than one item? Example:
Can I use 3 coupons for 3 knoor pasta sides Or, only 1 for three packages?
Thanks!
Sure, the coupon is for $1.00/3 which means that you get $1.00 off when you buy 3 packs so .33 off each. I hope that helps you understand. You can also check the Getting Started tab of the menu bar that has FAQ's and links to many helpful posts.
Thank you for clarifying that the $30 is before coupons, I never understood the wording!
Do you know if we can get more than one catalina if we make more than one trip spending the $30 required again and again?
For example, I just got this deal last night. Can I go back today and do the deal and still get another catalina?
Thanks!
I went to Albertson last night and and YES I got the catalina deal by spending $30 BEFORE my coupons!! Some things were free :)
Yes, as far as I know, you can go back as many times as you want. You should even be able to separate your items into several $30 before coupon transactions and then just pay for them separately. I have never had any problems doing that.
Howdy Y'all. I am in the Dallas Texas area and the Albertson's ad here states "Spend $30 get $10 BACK Instantly on over 2,300 Proctor & Gamble Items. Are there suggestions on how to proceed. Is there a shopping list for P&G items anywhere? Thanks
When I tried to do the Pillsbury deal (a few weeks ago) twice in one day the catalina didn't print. The cashier told me it was because the ad said, "Limit 1 per customer." We assumed the limit was attached to my preferred card.
This is why I am hesitating in trying to do this again..
What do you think?
I have never had that experience. I have always been able to do them multiple times in the past and even several transactions right after the other. I am actually going this afternoon and I will try it and let you know how it works.
Thank you! :)
I appreciate all you do, Kerri.
We just gave out another business card of yours; this time to our pest control man. He was impressed with our stockpile and asked what we spend on groceries. He's going to share the info. w/ his wife. :)
I had to use two Albertson's cards today to get a back to back deal (mine and "my husbands") Lucky for me the manager at the one on Allen in Bako is a gem! There was some confusion over the cookie pouches. The sale is only good for Sugar, Peanut butter and Choc Chip. They had the Pumpkin spice and Gingerbread on the promo table so they gave me the sale price and took them down right away. Regardless, I got about $75 of food for $34.60!! Such a rush:)
Kerri,
So I just got back from Albertson's on Mt Veronon in Bakersfield. Kinda fristrating…I was taking advantage of the $15 back from $30 purchase this week…I had 5 separate transactions ready to go and the checker told me that it was limited to one transaction per preferred member card, per day. THEN, she said that the total had to be $30 after all the coupons had come off. As you can imagine, it threw me. So, I had them put back the other transactions, grabbed a few other products to make up the difference so that it would be $30 after the coupons came off, got my $15 in Catalina back, and left.
Next time, I will simply just put my stuff up on the line, not say anything and hand them my coupons after they have scanned everything.
Question, so when I use the $15 catalina tomorrow towards paying for the next batch of groceries, do I have to have $45 worth of groceries there so that it is still $30 after all the coupons are taken off? PLEASE ADVISE!!
