How To Keep Up

Hello

I have received numerous questions about subscribing, following, Facebook, etc. Let me do my best to explain the differences:

  • Subscribing to our daily email newsletter is probably the most popular way to stay up to date on all the deals posted on this site. When you subscribe by typing your email address into the box at the top right hand of this site, you will receive an email with SaveAtHomeMommy in the subject line. That email contains a link that you have to click on in order to activate your subscription. Once it is active, you will get an email every day with the titles and brief snippets of each new post for the day. You can then click on the title to go straight to that post. This keeps you from missing out on a great deal if you forget to check one day. It also delivers you the deals even if there are certain problems that might keep the site from being viewed.
  • You can also choose to subscribe to the RSS feed of this site.  When you do this, everytime I post, the updates will go to your feed reader of choice. This allows you to scroll through the posts on all of the blogs that you follow in one place.
  • Being a fan on Facebook allows you to network with other readers through discussions, pictures of deals and wall posts. You will also see updates from SaveAtHomeMommy on your Facebook homepage whenever they are posted. There will be certain times that special deals and information might be shared on Facebook first.
  • You can also choose to follow us on Twitter which will alert you every time I make a new post so you have real time deal info.

I hope that helps you to understand your options and allow you to choose which fit best into how you communicate and network on the internet.
