Catalina coupons are the coupons that print out of the little machine next to the register when you check out. Catalina is the name of the company that provides this type of promotion for varying companies. Catalina deals are supposed to be marked by white tags below the items but they are often replaced by sale tags and the specifics are not always listed. The best way to find out about Catalina deals at your local stores is through savings blogs like this and other online savings forums. Sometimes a slip will print out when you check out that will announce a new promotion with all the details. People will post about them so that others can get the details and savings as well. Also, when stores run big promotions where you buy ?? and get $$ back on your next order and Walgreen’s register rewards are also promotions by this company. If you ever have a problem with a coupon not printing out, in my experience, this is the best things to do:
- Ask the manager to check it out for you but don’t be surprised if there is nothing they can do. They often don’t know the details but if the customer service is good, they might just give you credit or money back.
- Call the Catalina company at 1-888-826-8766 and the Catalina customer service can help you with some info off your store receipt and store card number.
I recently had an issue with several Catalina coupons not printing out at my local Vons. The manager gave me a $10 credit for the Living Well promotion coupon that I did not receive but insisted the other promotions were over. I came home and called Catalina and after holding for a few minutes, the rep was able to see that the system had been down when I checked out and verified that the promotions were still active. He got my info and within 1 week I got another $1o Catalina coupon in the mail. I even told him I had already received my $10 credit from the store manager.
